Kristin Brandli Printon inducted into the Top Women in Finance Hall of Fame
MINNEAPOLIS — September 23, 2023 — Kristin Brandli Printon, AIF®, WMCP®, Co-Founder & Vice-President of Moxie Wealth Management, was announced today as a third-time honoree for Finance & Commerce’s Top Women in Finance award.
This award recognizes her outstanding dedicated to her profession and commitment to advancing her community and society at large.
As one of only eight three-time recipients of the award in its 23-year history, Printon has also been inducted into the award’s Hall of Fame. She previously won the Top Women in Finance award in 2015 and 2019.
“Joining the ranks of such influential women in the Hall of Fame is very exciting,” Printon stated. “They represent the upper echelon of women wealth advisors, and it’s an honor to walk alongside them.”
Printon’s achievements include co-founding North Star’s Law Division at Star Resource Group in 2011, where she has led a team of 13 members to significant growth. In 2015, she co-founded Moxie Wealth Management, an affiliate of North Star Resource Group, which has seen remarkable expansion, with a 109% increase in her personal AUM between 2020 and 2023.
In the last year, Printon has spoken to a variety of local and international audiences on topics including being a woman financial planner, sharing your message and building community on social media, developing an advice-based practice to better serve clients, and her real-life experience building a business.
“Kristin is a proven leader in our industry,” said Joe Burgess, CFP®, CAP®, AIF®, Co-Founder and President of Moxie Wealth Management. “The fact that she has achieved Hall of Fame status through Top Women in Finance at her age speaks to her focus and professionalism. Her clients greatly benefit from her skill and personalized advice. And we are fortunate to have her talents to help shape the future of Moxie Wealth Management.”
Beyond growth in her practice, Printon is passionate about empowering women growing wealth beyond the Moxie doors. Her proactive approach to addressing women’s financial needs is evident through the creation of the “Women & Wealth” workshop and workbook in 2020, where she has coached over 80 women, aligning their values with their financial decisions.
Likewise, she has founded a working moms’ group and co-founded a professional study group of women financial planners from throughout the country.
In 2020, noticing a lack of financial content geared toward children, Printon authored a children’s book teaching children about what they can do with money and the positive impacts of saving and charitable giving.
Printon also serves as a regular volunteer and leader at non-profits including BestPrep, Diaper Bank of Minnesota, and Learning Motherhood.
“Kristin’s exceptional dedication and contributions to the community from early in her career to now have been a driving force behind her success,” said North Star CEO Ed Deutschlander. “Her passion for empowering women and giving back to the community has served as an inspiration for many in our organization and our profession. We are immensely proud of Kristin’s achievements and her well-deserved recognition as a Top Women in Finance awardee.”
Printon and the other honorees will receive recognition for their award wins at a special awards program event in Minneapolis on November 16, 2023.
